TEDA-Tianjin Economic-Technological Development
Area (TEDA for short), one of the first batch of
national development areas, was founded on
December 6th, 1984, which was
authorized by State Council of the People's
Republic of China. In response to the
cross-century colossal strategy and with an aim
to be the largest modern industrial district in
Asia and the best one in China, "the second wave
of undertaking "in TEDA has been being put in
motion, together with many integrated
construction programs are going on such as new
investment environment, urban areas environment
and human culture environment. Premier Wen
Jiabao of the State Council indicated to promote
regional balanced development as well as the
development and opening of Tianjin Binhai newly
development area.
